A group of industry friends from the San Diego bar scene had the crazy idea of starting a tequila brand. With deep roots in the bar community and a passion for agave spirits, they recognized a huge gap and growing demand for high-quality, additive-free tequila that needed to be both affordable and fit seamlessly into any bar program. They knew that developing a tequila that prioritized quality, accessibility, integrity, and affordability was something that both bartenders and consumers could get behind and was the motivation and inspiration behind Real Del Valle Tequila.

What truly distinguishes Real Del Valle in the tequila industry is our unique partnership with the farmers(agaveros). Our farmers aren't just agave suppliers; they’re co-owners of our brand, cultivating agave as a collective for over 25 years, with some families carrying the traditionfor over five generations.
Our agave differs significantly from that grown in Jalisco — offering a more sustainably produced and healthier plant. The agave itself has been honored with top awards for producing the highest quality agave in region.
